$22.49, complete. My mom bought this for me the night before I flew out to Seattle to visit the guys at Lobotomy Software, so I'd have something to do on the plane.

In an attempt to make your life complete, you enter the tournament....no, not Unreal Tournament, a pool tournament! You're out to show your superiority by playing pool...you want to be crowned...THE MAN!!!

What's it all about?
It's pool...you use the cue ball to knock the other balls on the table into the various pockets. You can play in a variety of games ranging from the single player tournaments to two player pocket or nine ball games. In the Tournament mode you'll be scored based on performance and such, and this will determine if you'll move on to the next stage. Oddly enough, Data East threw in something quite odd in the form of a "Super Ball". From time to time, one of the various balls on the table will glow and the word "Super" will fly out of it. Hitting it with the cue ball results in wild shot that ricochet's all over the table until the momentum has run out. Most times it simply results in the cue ball being shot directly into one of the pockets, thus loosing your turn, but there are rare occasions when it'll help you sink a number of balls in just that one hit. Past the Tournament and two player modes, there's also a full fledged Trick Shots section. Here you'll be pitted against some of the most mind numbingly hard shots known to man kind...good luck on that....

Graphics - Sharp and well defined. The digitized women look great as well does your character. The pool table and balls.....well, look like a pool table and balls...
Sound - The actual clacking of the balls and other miscellaneous effects of the pool table sound quite authentic. The music has a sort of jazz thing going on, which is pretty relaxing at times. The speech, unfortunately, is bordering on disgraceful.
Control - Excellent, there's even a line of symmetry to help you with shots.
AI - There is none, you can't play against the computer at all.
Replay value - Just like real pool, you'll play to get better and when you get better you'll play until you're the best(whenever that may be).
Tips for better gaming experiences:
Watch the game run in demo mode, it'll walk you through at least five or six of the Trick Shots. You still won't be able to do them like the CPU does, but at least you'll know it's possible...on some level...or, you can always make good use of DJ Tigresa and MC Pantera's excellent Trick Shots FAQ.
My rating: 90(out of 100) - A great pool simulation with some nice extras. Fun with a friend or just by yourself.
EGM gave it: 7, 8, 8, 8(out of 10)
Sega Visions gave it: 74(graphics), 69(sound & music), 70(play controls & gameplay), 74(depth & challenge), 79(overall fun)(out of 100)
GamePro gave it: 4.0(graphics), 3.0(sound), 3.5(control), 4.0(funfactor)(out of 5)

Cat's attitude towards it:
I liked it! I never get a chance to try my paw at real pool so this is a nice little treat, I recommend it to all cats(and humans).

Rack'em motherfucker!
One of the local hookers at the pool hall...
Hmmmm, they look familiar...
The trick shots: Yeah-fucking-right.
Is it just me or:
Those two guys in the game look suspiciously like Tom Cruise and Paul Newman(The Color of Money)...
