Just for kicks, let me present the system requirements:
68040 33MHz or higher, PowerPC recommended. System 7 or higher, 13 MB hard drive space, 5 MB Ram, 256 color monitor required.

Patches?
None that I have found.
(there's supposed to be a patch to 1.2 out there...somewhere, but I just can't find it. If you know where I can get it, please email me)

Ah Catz...what would I do with out it...be a happier person, that's what! It's bad enough I have Baraka here, harassing me ALL the time, but now I have them on my iMac!? This is a fun little simulation, of sorts, that allows you to adopt a virtual kitten and raise him. You can play with him, scratch him and even watch him catch mice...all with the comfort of knowing you can hit Apple key-Q to send him away....very far away...

Getting it to run:

Difficulty: Easy
Configuring iShock:
NA

Just pop the disc in and run the installer, that simple. It will tell you it takes around 55 megs or something, but after the installation you'll find it's really only 14 megs or so. Click on the game and you're good to go. If you want, you can drop the "CatNapz" extension into your System Extension folder to enable the screensaver(basically, your cat will just run around your screen doing goofy stuff).
Learning from your own mistakes is an incredible thing, and after doing each and every one of these I think you will find much enlightenment in what I like to call:

Tips to avoid feeling like a complete jackass:

* This game can be run in any screen res, but I've found it's best to run it in 800X600 as you can do other things as your cat plays around...

For more support: Ubi Soft Petz(not sure if this is entirely correct, but it's as close as I can find)

Fun stuff on the CD:
Demos for Dogz and Oddballz, and a movie for IAMS.
