All gifs were made from the 32X version of MK2. As per usual, my disclaimer

The
Dragon fatality comes back in MK4/G and is much, MUCH more violent. Not
only does it bite the opponent, but it swings them around then brutally
slams them to the ground. |
The
Hat Tear has to be one of the most gory fatalities in MK history. Very
few rival how amazingly violent that one is... |
Johnny
has three fatalities, but two are pretty much the same. The fatality not
show has Johnny knocking multiple heads off the opponent(a tribute to
the bug in part one that allows you to do this) |
Reptile's
Friendship is exactly like the other ninja's, thus just watch Scorpion's
and imagine it's "Buy a Reptile Doll" rather than Scorpion Doll. |
Sub-Zero's
Friendship is exactly like the other ninja's, thus just watch Scorpion's
and imagine it's "Buy a Sub-Zero Doll" rather than Scorpion
Doll. |
Shang
Tsung's nut-crunch pose is the best of the lot, absolutely hilarious.
He's also the hardest character to perform the move on. |
Kitana
can be an absolute bitch with the right player. For instance: If you can
catch someone in the corner you can perform quite a few devastating combos
with her "fan lift" move. |
Taking
the Arm Rip fatality a step further, in MK4/G Quan Chi rips opponent's
legs off...then proceeds to beat them with it. |
In
the arcade version, you could perform the Sai Stabs fatality from behind
the opponent, resulting in Mileena ripping up their back and ass. It was
pretty funny. |
A
lot of people ask if my girlfriend's cat is really named "Baraka",
and if so, was he named after this character. He is really named Baraka,
but not after MK's angry nomad...he's named after the poet "Amiri
Baraka". |
Note:
Scorpion has a third fatality that is very similar to the Toasty, but
can be performed anywhere on the screen. |
In
the Genesis version of MK2, someone at Probe had the great idea of putting
one of the employees in a special fatality. Called "Fergality",
it was a monument to Probe's ever-disgraceful use of resources. |
Holding
"Down" on the controller after sending someone into the spikes
will make their body slide off of them, falling to the ground. |
In
the arcade and SNES conversions of MK2, holding "Down" and "LP"
after knocking an opponent into the Dead Pool resulted in the skeleton
saying "Aw Boy". |
The
Pit has shown up in every MK game except MK: DA. |
The
Babality is exactly the same for every character, it just results in a
slightly different picture. |
