Ah, the original Tomb Raider, our first encounter with Ms. Croft. TR Gold includes the two new missions "Unfinished Business" and "Shadow of the Cat", as well as the full original game. Though not nearly as refined as part 2, TR Gold is still an amazing experience, and with the Rave 3D support you can see it as the developers intended. Gorgeous...simply gorgeous.

Getting it to run:

Difficulty: Easy
Configuring iShock:
Easy

Just pop in the CD, and run the installer. Watch out though, after the game installs it will tell you it's going to take you to the Quicktime 3 installer, cancel it when it gets to that point. It *might* install over your current Quicktime extensions, and trust me, you don't want to take that chance. Also, on other thing, if you have inputsprockets disabled, the installer will re-enable all of them, so you'll have to go back and disable the ones you never use again.

Setting up the iShock is damn easy as well, just click on the "TR Setup" icon and map what you want onto the iShock. Simple!
Learning from your own mistakes is an incredible thing, and after doing each and every one of these I think you will find much enlightenment in what I like to call:

Tips to avoid feeling like a complete jackass:

* The game requires that the CD be in the Mac, put it in before starting.
* Use the "TR Setup" icon for any changes you need to make BEFORE you start playing. I have noticed a lot of graphical glitches while playing with the graphic settings during the game(via the F-keys).
