Running off a modified version of the Duke Nukem 3D BUILD engine, the game is super smooth and more graphically impressive than Duke. With even more humor, taunts and talking than Duke this almost beats the King! Various mods are available, but are generally hard to find. Even without them, the game is very long and will rock you until the end. Another must have!!!

Getting it to run:

Difficulty: Easy
Configuring iShock: Moderate

Just like Duke Nukem, this is a very easy game to get up and running in a flash. With the ability to make all changes without restarting, you will have it configured in no time flat. About the only thing that slows you down is it's lack of InputSprocket which forces you to go into the iShock's config screen and manually set it to emulate the keyboard.
Learning from your own mistakes is an incredible thing, and after doing each and every one of these I think you will find much enlightenment in what I like to call:

Tips to avoid feeling like a complete jackass:

* Set your monitor resolution to the same resolution you will be using on the game.
* The game will run without the CD, but you will not be able to play the music.
* Do yourself a HUGE favor and make sure "Kid Mode" is OFF; if not you lose a lot of humor and content.
* Unlike Duke, SW has an option for "Always Run" in the menu.
* Crank all the settings up to the highest quality, your Mac can handle it, trust me.

Speaking of feeling like a jackass:
MacSoft or someone thought that putting a demo of the game on the SAME CD AS THE GAME to give to friends was a really good idea...

Fun stuff on the CD:
In the "goodies" folder you will find some utilities for Shadow Warrior as well as a demo of the game to give to friends(but not so they can COPY THE ENTIRE GAME ONTO THEIR MAC. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, wuggle, wuggle, etc).
