The ultimate in bad implementation. A sad mix of full motion video and computer drawn environments. Add to that the extremely poor quality of the video clips, the acting and overall presentation and you have the recipe for one of the biggest let-downs ever. This game could have been so much more...
Getting it to run:

Difficulty: Easy
Configuring iShock: NA

 An extremely easy install, just drag the Phantasmagoria folder off Disc 1 onto your hard drive. After that, if you want, you can ditch the 68k Phant. launcher. NOTE: Do NOT install ANY of the files in the folder called "System Files". You do not need them, and they will overwrite your current, newer versions of those files, causing all sorts of havoc on your machine.
Learning from your own mistakes is an incredible thing, and after doing each and every one of these I think you will find much enlightenment in what I like to call:

Tips to avoid feeling like a complete jackass:

* Switch your screen to 640X480 before starting the game for the best view.

For more support: It should be Sierra, but they have none. PlanetSierra is pretty hip and their section on Phantasmagoria is excellent!

Speaking of feeling like a jackass:
When released, a lot of stores refused to carry this game due to its "extreme" graphic subject matter....of course now, they all have no problem's carrying Soldier of Fortune II or something equally as blantantly violent.

One the first CD there are the following extras:
QuickTime 2.1(oh boy!), 3D Ultra Pinball demo and moves for Trophy Bass, Gabriel Knight III, Shivers and Torin's Passage.
