Patches? |
Though the game it's based on is amazing, this add on really isn't. The levels that are entirely too big, with two few enemies(even on Come Get Some difficulty) and have textures that will make you scream if you have to look at them for the next 45 minutes you run inanely around the level looking for the right door. All in all, playable with a few fun parts but ultimately just plain boring. |

Getting
it to run: Difficulty: Easy Configuring iShock: Moderate |
Like the original Duke Nukem 3D, this add on is a very easy game to get up and running in a flash. With the ability to make all changes without restarting, you will have it configured in no time flat. About the only thing that slows you down is it's lack of InputSprocket which forces you to go into the iShock's config screen and manually set it to emulate the keyboard. One small problem though: The game has a real problem with the Caps Lock button, which represents your "Always Run" option. You can hit it, and you will run for a bit, and then it will just cut off at times. It's irritating, but doesn't happen too often. | |
